MAY 20TH, 2026 - RARITIES-QUARTER EAGLES THRU PATTERNS

Hello All,

I hope all is well. It's already hit 90 degrees here on the gulf coast of Florida. Summer is upon us and we are already feeling it. A little weakness in the gold bullion business believe it or not is adding dollar signs to numismatics as some investors are taking profits and redirecting some of those funds toward better rare coins and even rarities. This is of course having a positive effect on the sheer volume of buying and selling that is occurring, as well as fueling demand for rare coins that have a finite supply, in this case the rarities are experiencing interest coming from many sectors from collectors to billionaire investors and everyone in between. From within the USA and Internationally. We are in the most consistent and strong market in decades and it appears to be only getting started.

This weeks hand picked offerings (all coins are closely reviewed and hand chosen! ) begin with a Classic Gold Series dated 1837 Quarter eagle in choice uncirculated MS-62 by NGC. The Classics appear to be quite undervalued as they've been for the most part overlooked while the money has historically chased the earlier gold. At some point this needs to balance a bit don't you think? Next up a great rarity in early gold, the 1810 Small Date-Small 5 in about uncirculated, rarely seen especially in this condition with a reported less than 2 dozen examples known to exist. Next up a very choice uncirculated MS-63 1889 $5 that seems too undervakued followed by a near gem 1891-CC Half eagle in PCGS MS-64 ( ! ) that qualifies for the finest of collections, followed by a scarce 1856-S Eagle in choice about uncirculated to a double eagle, 1857-S from the SS Central America 2 with pinch and cert at not much of a premium over spot gold, to Judd 1234, an 1872 Quarter eagle Pattern in Proof 64 Deep Cameo that is an uber rarity 8 coin with a pop of only 1 with 1 higher and lastly a rare gold coin from that country that nobody knows how to spell Czechoslovakia 1931 Ducat in MS-67+ that is just astounding quality.
